| hey ERIC... great season, tough break... don't know how many times a "decimal" win or loss in champgame has happened with you... in 2005 i lost the PaulBrown championship game by a 102.55 to 102.00 score and in same year lost the JimBrown IDP league 240.70 to 239.95... both of those losses occurred literally in late in final quarter of final game being played that week 16... last year i lost the Superior 3 championship by EIGHT YARDS...0.80 pts (96.25 to 95.45)...that might have been the most sickening since i had LT2 going in that Christmas Eve MNF game and that friggin' NorvTurner let LT2 carry about 3 times early in 3rd quarter and then PULLED him... for about 25 minutes of game time i sat there watching... EIGHT YARDS... opponent a good friend had emailed his congrats at halftime... needless to say i started the "I HATE NORV TURNER fanclub"   seriously... i have lost 3 champ games by the less-than-one-point DECIMAL loss... this was FIRST "DECIMAL WIN" in a champgame... and of my 3 championships this year... winning MICH 4 is the most rewarding since i have been in M-4 since beginning in 2003 have had some very good-to-near-great teams over the years only to get bumped along the way including a champ-game loss in 2004 here... FINALLY winning this year especially with some of my favorite players (my Cowboys of course and my SOONERS A.D.) ... i was flipping on direct tv between the Minny-Atl game and the Jets-Sea.game since you had jets dee and carlson...thinking i had lost til AD caught that 11 yd pass, his 2nd to get 2.1 pts to seal it hope you did good in your other leagues LT |
