(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Dec 22, 2008) In a week 16 Great Lakes Classic 5 classic, *NH Pain Society embarrassed a hapless *Ponderous Pachyderms team by a score of 108.05 to 51.40, silencing a partisan crowd of 70,228.
*NH Pain Society were led to their 56.65 point victory by a 25.55 point effort from Drew Brees, who tore apart the Detroit Lions defense for 351 passing yards and 2 passing TDs. They also got help from a 16.10 point effort from Larry Fitzgerald, who beat the New England Patriots defense for 101 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD. "The important thing is that we won," *NH Pain Society coach Erik Gamans said. *Ponderous Pachyderms were helped out in a losing cause by a 10.90 point effort from Matt Ryan, who snuck past the Minnesota Vikings defense for 134 passing yards and 1 passing TD in addition to 2 rushing yards. They also got help from a 9.80 point effort from Greg Jennings, who snuck past the Chicago Bears defense for 38 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD. "They wanted it more than we did," *Ponderous Pachyderms coach Larry Cooke said. This brings the record for *NH Pain Society to 11-4, and drops *Ponderous Pachyderms to a record of 12-3. | ||
